Bienvenido F. Nebres, SJ. Fr. Bienvenido F. Nebres, S.J. served as President of the Ateneo de Manila University for 18 years 1993-2011. He was Dean of the Ateneo College of Arts and Sciences 1973-1980. He was President of Xavier University in Cagayan de Oro in the early 1990s. National Scientist. Fr.Nebres is one of the foremost living mathematicians todays. He has published some 15 papers in pure mathematics and in mathematics education. As president of the Mathematical Society of the Philippines for a number of years he contributed greatly to the development of higher mathematics education in the country. Fr. Father Bienvenido Nebres, SJ has been the President of Ateneo de Manila University since 1993.
