The Yashwantrao Chavan Maharashtra Open University (YCMOU) was established on 1st July 1989 by the Act XX- (1989) of Maharashtra State Legislature.The headquarters of the University is located at Nashik. The University campus is aptly named as 'Dnyangangotri' (River of Knowledge) and is spread over sprawling 147acres, picturesque, lush green campus, adjacent to Gangapur Dam near Nashik city. YCMOU Nashik offers 19 programmes at undergraduate and postgraduate levels in distance mode. YCMOU Nashik admission to the UG and PG programme is offered based on the marks obtained in the last qualifying examination. YCMOU Nashik M.B.A admission is offered to students based on their performance in a common entrance examination conducted by the university. To be eligible for admission to UG courses at YCMOU, candidates must have passed the 10+2 level examination.
