PAKO Festa will have a new format this year, with the multicultural festival moving away from Pakington Street in Geelong West to the Northern Community Hub in Norlane. To be held on February 26 Pako Festa was established in 1983 and has been one of the highlights on the Geelong events calendar for more than 40 years. "This successful event attracts crowds of more than 100,000 people and fulfils its purpose, which is to celebrate local diversity," Ms Leggo said.
