Douglass, originally named New Jersey College for Women, was renamed in 1955 after its founder and first Through Douglass Discovery, students in the arts, humanities, and social sciences take a direct route to research and hands-on learning through a year-long cohort experience. By collaborating directly with faculty, artists, corporate leaders, and other professionals, students build their resumes and expand their horizons.
