Abstract. This work aimed to evaluate the biological effects of two wild edible fungal species, Coprinus comatus (O.F. Müll.) Pers. and Leucoagaricus leucothites (Vittad.) Wasser in human lymphocytes. Different concentrations (1-100 mg/L) of aqueous and methanol extracts from C. comatus and L. leucothites were added to cultured human lymphocytes. Among the five new. species, Leucoagaricus albosquamosus, Leucoagaricus atroviridis and Leucoagaricus centricasta-. neus are nested within the /leucoagaricus clade, and each species had strong Stem. 6-10 cm long; 1-1.5 cm thick; usually club-shaped; dry; bald; discoloring and bruising yellowish to brownish; becoming hollow; with a white ring on the upper stem that is fairly persistent but may fall away. Flesh. White; not changing when sliced, or staining yellowish in the stem base. Spore Print: White. Leucoagaricus is derived from the Greek Leuco s meaning white and Agaricus, the genus name of the 'true mushrooms' as many people call the Field Mushroom, Horse Mushroom and their close relatives all of which have pink gills that darken when the brown or purple-brown spores mature. So Leucoagaricus suggests a group of white mushrooms that are Leucoagaricus leucothites. 1. Summary 2.
