Looking back at 2021, I can confidently say that we did, in fact, act. As we continue our work on transparent and traceable food supply chains, we are steadily moving towards our end goal: redistributing value across food supply chains, with a fair income or wage for the people behind our food. Fairfood has undergone some changes: we realised that one way to make a direct change in our food system is by helping businesses to implement traceability and transparency in their supply chains. We want to drive sustainable change from the inside. The mission remains the same, however: to use our technology to the benefit of those who are at Fairfood strives for a world in which everyone can enjoy good food. A world in which the people who produce our food lead a dignified life, and in which food is produced with respect for people, animals and the environment.
