The reason Ikora had 2 nova bombs in the first mission of the red war was because she had pre-nerf Skull of Dire Ahamkara built into her skull. Her nova was like the d1 not this crap we got now. In "Homecoming" the first mission we saw Ikora pull out some old crucible moves and toss a Nova at a pack of cabal, seconds later she tosses another one at a red legion ship.
