The Oklahoma Department of Mental Health and Substance Abuse Services (ODMHSAS) contracts with a variety of treatment programs to ensure the state's network of behavioral health providers and services is meeting the needs of Oklahomans. Services are funded through a variety of sources, including state appropriations and federal grants. The Certified Peer Recovery Support Specialist (PRSS) fulfills a unique role in the support of and recovery from mental health issues and substance use disorders.
