Studio Gang Architects (SGA) is pleased to announce the completion of the WMS Boathouse at Clark Park along the north branch of the Chicago River. Designed and built by SGA, the state-of-the-art The WMS Boathouse at Clark Park is currently home to the Chicago Rowing Foundation (CRF). In partnership with the Chicago Park District, the CRF offers a wide range of indoor and outdoor activities year round, including learn to row sessions both in tanks and on the river, youth and masters team rowing, ergometer training, rowing-inspired yoga classes, and lessons tailored to individuals with The Eleanor Boathouse at Park 571 is one of two boathouses on the Chicago River designed by Studio Gang. Like its sister project, the WMS Boathouse at Clark Park, the Eleanor Boathouse creates another crucial access point along the river's edge—this time, on the south branch of the river, serving Chicago's South Side communities. On the river's edge in Chicago's Clark Park, lies the WMS Boathouse, a two-story 20,000-square-foot rowing, training and boat storage facility that is home to the Chicago Rowing Foundation and North Park University's women's rowing team.
