Keeyask is a 695 megawatt (MW) hydroelectric generating station on the lower Nelson River. It is located 725 kilometres northeast of Winnipeg and 30 kilometres west of Gillam, in the Split Lake Resource Management Area. The station was developed by the Keeyask Hydropower Limited Partnership (KHLP), jointly owned by Manitoba Hydro and four The Laurie River #1 Generating Station is located approximately 200 km (120 miles) northwest of Thompson and approximately 125 km (78 miles) upstream of Southern Indian Lake.
