As a Community Access Program team member you will: Participate in life skills activities, which include: learning to budget, shop, and prepare a meal; taking the bus; how to disclose your disability. Complete employability skills workshops like: motivation and goal setting; creating a cover letter and resume; interview skills. The Community ACCESS-Ability grant program supports government's efforts to achieve an accessible Nova Scotia by 2030. Government recently released the province's strategy for accessibility, Access by Design 2030, which identifies priorities to achieve the goals set out in the Accessibility Act. The program is still open to applications.
