Tissue samples should be submitted in 10% formalin in a leak-proof plastic container. The specimen should not be compressed, and there should be sufficient formalin to Reference Laboratory Information. TVMDL's College Station lab ships samples to reference labs across the country. Availability is subject to change at the referral laboratory. All reference test information is available to view through our test search. A fee of $25 is assessed for each referral and covers preparation of the sample and New Client Forms should be faxed to 979.458.3260.
