Pavilion is a U.S.A. home grown company (Miami, Florida) incorporated in 1996 with roots going back several decades. Established as Sunburst Outdoor Furniture in the early 70's, the name was changed to Pavilion in 1996 to better identify the company as the need was recognized to produce high-styled indoor/outdoor furniture. Pavilion's team A 1975 SLU graduate and licensed neuropsychologist, Dr. Chaifetz is the founder, chairman and CEO of Chicago-based ComPsych Corporation, the world's largest provider of employee-assistance programs. Chaifetz Arena is located at the intersection of Compton Avenue and Market Street in midtown St. Louis - 1 S. Compton Ave., St. Louis, MO 63103. The public is invited to watch a men's basketball open practice on Friday, Oct. 20, from 4-6 p.m. at Chaifetz Pavilion. It is free to attend. Parking is available in the Olive-Compton Parking Garage. Please note there is an event in Chaifetz Arena Friday night. Fans are encouraged to arrive prior to 4 p.m. to avoid a parking charge in the garage. Chaifetz Arena does offer a designated location for guests who'd like to step outside and smoke - this is located outside Gate E which is near section 112. While most events do not allow re-entry, there are a few exceptions made for all-day type events such as sports tournaments or cheer/dance competitions.
