Splendido Mare evokes all the glitz and glamor of the jet-set lifestyle that the Italian Riviera is known for, but with its recent 2021 renovation, it has a gorgeous modern flair compared to the more Splendido Mare re-opens following a complete renovation with interior designs by Festen Architecture. Throughout the hotel, guests will find detailed references to nautical heritage blended with the glamour of the 1950s and mid-century modern references. All 14 rooms and suites are individually characteristic with colours inspired by the Belmond Splendido Mare remains pride of place in Portofino's bustling piazzetta. Today our harbour-side haven is at the heart of a blossoming and rather more elevated Italian retreat. Newly redesigned, the hotel honours its humble nautical origins, while diving wholeheartedly into the village's free-spirited glamour.
